SubmitIt.be - Affiliates
Here are some reasons why you have to participate in SubmitIt.be's affiliate program:
- Imagine you have a website and you're an affiliate of SubmitIt.be.
If a visitor on your site clicks the link to SubmitIt.be and places
an order, we pay you a commission. Nothing special so far... However, it gets better:
Imagine that another webmaster clicks the link to SubmitIt.be and
he subscribes to our affiliate program. If a visitor to his website clicks the link to
SubmitIt.be and places an order, we pay that webmaster a commission
and you get a commission, too!
So we pay a commission for each customer you send us and another commission for each customer
that another webmaster (who subscribed through your website) sends us. This is a unique opportunity
to earn some extra money with your website without doing anything.
- The tracking is done through means of cookies. This cookie never expires. In other words, you
can send a visitor to us who buys nothing and comes back two weeks later and places an order. Then
you'll still receive your commission. Even if a customer would come back after two years you would
still receive your commission as long as the cookie persists.
- We always advice our customers to resubmit there website every 6 months and we'll
send reminders by email. So we're already doing some marketing that will benefit our
affiliates. Although our price to our customer is lower (resubmitting a site after 6
months is cheaper then submitting a site for the first time) our affiliates still
get an interesting commission. However, sometimes it happens that a customer places
an order by telephone. In such a case our affiliate would not receive his commission
because we can only track orders through our website. So how do we solve that? We
accept orders by telephone but we will always ask a customer to confirm
the order through the form on our website. This way we have a confirmation in writing
and our affiliate gets his or her commission.
- The difficulty with some affiliate programs is that affiliates (you, the webmasters)
send customers to the merchant (us, SubmitIt.be) and that
the affiliate doesn't get his or her commission for a next order. We choose not
to let our cookies expire and thus solve this problem.
Why we do this?
Our affiliates are very important to us. The more we give, the more we can get back.
How does it work?
You receive a unique code that you can place on your website. If somebody on your site
clicks this code, they appear on our website and we know you sent him or her. This way
we can pay your commission for the sale.
